Your group chat has been arguing about where to eat since Tuesday. This ends it. The BBQ beef ribs are slow cooked for seven hours in The Nines' special sauce until soft and tender, and two king prawns are coated in a secret batter, fried golden and crispy, then tossed in fiery dynamite sauce.

For pudding, the chocolate sphere comes with vanilla ice cream and pourable Belgian milk chocolate sauce, because one layer of chocolate was never going to be enough!

ACTIVITY ALLEY

🧵 - Women Who Make Festival - A Day of Textiles, Talks and a Sewing Bee Inside a Cotton Mill From 1783!
📍 - Masson Mills, Derby Road, Matlock Bath
📅 - Sat 10th Oct
⏰ - 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM
🎟️ - Free (some talks, workshops and walks need a free add-on ticket)
📷 - @derbyshiremakes

Masson Mills was built in 1783 as one of the world's first water-powered cotton spinning mills, and on Saturday it fills with women who make things, from an artist showcase to a sewing bee, with talks, live music and coffee in between.

Most of it is drop-in, and the workshops need no experience because materials are provided, so nobody is going to inspect your stitching, and that includes the stitching on your jumper!
