Forage & Feast – A Wild Culinary Adventure 🌿🍴

Looking for a unique and hands-on way to connect with nature? Forage & Feast is the perfect event for you! This Saturday, join expert forager Brendan at Markeaton Park for a day of discovering wild edibles and learning the art of foraging. Whether you're a novice or have some experience, this event will teach you how to safely identify edible plants and fungi and avoid any harmful lookalikes.

The day will begin with an introductory talk on the history and benefits of foraging, followed by a guided walk around the beautiful green spaces of Markeaton Park, where you’ll learn to identify various wild plants and mushrooms. After the walk, participants will enjoy a three-course meal prepared using the foraged ingredients. This includes a starter, a ramen dish featuring mushrooms and greens, a refreshing selection of kombuchas, and a surprise dessert!
