It’s bouncy castle central this weekend as Inflatable Family Fun Days lands at Derby Rugby Club. Two full days of slides, obstacle courses, and inflatable madness for kids aged 2–12. Adults go free (but no jumping, sorry Dad), and there’s food, ice cream, bumper cars and trampolines if you fancy going full throttle.

Ideal for burning off sugar highs and giving the kids a day they won’t shut up about for a week. Bring cash. Bring snacks. Bring earplugs (optional).

Gin, rum, tequila, snacks, DJs, freebies… and the very real risk of waking up cuddling a branded tote bag wondering what happened to your dignity. With over 120 spirits to “sample” (translation: absolutely neck), this one’s less “quiet drink” and more “dance like your ex isn’t watching.” Live tunes all day, and strictly no kids – just bad decisions, and cocktails you can’t pronounce.

It’s comedy, but not in a grotty back room with sticky carpets – this is Electric Daisy, the undercover outdoor venue that’s actually nice to sit in. Expect top comics like Alun Cochrane, Eddy Brimson, and Keefy Jewell, plus a host who knows how to roast a crowd just right. Tickets are cheap, the jokes aren’t – and yes, it’s heated, so no goosebumps while giggling. Thursday’s just levelled up.
