Dirty Dancing comes to Markeaton Park on Saturday as part of the Outdoor Cinema Season, bringing Patrick Swayze, Jennifer Grey and one of cinema's most iconic soundtracks to the big screen under the stars.

Doors open at 7pm, with the film starting after sunset. Grab a seat, enjoy the evening, and try not to spend the drive home with I've Had The Time of My Life stuck in your head. Food and drink will be available on site.

Great Northern Classics is running its first ever yellow vehicle meet on Sunday, which is exactly what it sounds like, cars and bikes welcome as long as they're yellow. Clubs, solo displays and the general public all invited.

Free entry, free parking, the Tram Shed cafe running breakfast in the morning and lunch from noon, and a full car park of vehicles all committing to the same very specific bit. Worth it for the photos alone.

The Boot in Repton runs its monthly Supper Club on Thursday 30th, a specially curated three-course menu from the head chef with a complimentary appetiser to start and expertly paired wine tasters through every course, all in for £44.99.

The menu stays secret until the evening, so every course is a surprise, and it's limited to just 32 guests. At the end of the night you get to feed your thoughts back to the chefs, which is either a lovely touch or a lot of pressure depending on how strong your opinions on food are.
