Morning! This week’s got plans for every personality. Tuesday night is rock anthems with an orchestra, then Saturday is glass painting like you’ve got your life together.

Sunday is for the parents and the bargain hunters, with The Little Children’s Market at Derby Arena, two hours, 70 tables, cash only, and a strong chance you leave holding a bag of things you didn’t know you needed.

Kids grow like they’re on a subscription, so this is the sensible option. Seventy tables of clothes, toys, books and all the baby kit you swear you never bought, until you see it again on someone else’s table. It’s only on for two hours, so it’s quick, ruthless, and strangely satisfying. Entry is £2.50, parking’s free, and you’ll need cash.

Bouquet runs the full day. Locally roasted coffee and pastries early on, Italian toasted sandwiches at lunch, then cheese and charcuterie boards plus tapas from Thursday to Sunday.

They’ve got hundreds of bottles, loads by the glass, and it’s nearly one year old, which tells you the locals have already been “just popping in” and losing track of time!

Rock anthems, but played by a full orchestra, so it comes out bigger, louder, and oddly addictive. They take the big names (AC/DC, Metallica, Guns N’ Roses, Queen and more) and turn it into a full live show, not a polite night of sitting still.

It runs about 2 hours 20 with an interval, so get a drink in and commit.

Two hours with Wild Garden Cam learning glass paints, colour, line, and layering, then you leave with your own painted glass pane in a frame. Pick any theme you want, flowers, animals, abstract, something personal, and you’ll get guided through it step by step so beginners don’t feel out of place.

All materials are included, just wear something you don’t mind getting paint on.
