Step Into Christmas is back and it is dialled up to full sparkle. A live band, big festive classics and enough tinsel energy to power half the postcode. You get ballads, belters and a crowd that always starts polite then ends up singing like they’re auditioning for a Christmas advert. It moves fast, it is loud in all the right ways and it is the easiest way to feel festive without buying another novelty jumper.

The Market Place is rolling out a full day of brass bands and choirs blasting festive tunes like they're trying to out-sing the weather. You get harmonies, belting choruses and that moment where a trumpet hits a note that rattles your chest. It is cheerful, busy and ideal if you want instant festive mood without committing to another Christmas market.
