The Darley Park Concert tickets are on sale now for the 23rd, orchestral film scores, Mozart, and fireworks over the park, and the advance price only holds until the day before, so worth sorting now. Also this week, Engines & Espresso is back at Great Northern Classics on Saturday and if you've got a dog, there's a vet-approved dog first aid course at St Nick's in Allestree on Saturday where you learn canine CPR on a dummy dog.

This one is a few weeks away still, but we wanted to send you all a early reminder!

The Darley Park Weekender returns on the 21st with three days of live music, kicking off on Friday with Billy Ocean, Marti Pellow and Katrina of Katrina and the Waves. Saturday belongs to JLS, joined by Appleton and Chesney Hawkes, before Sunday rounds things off with the much-loved Darley Park Concert featuring Sinfonia Viva performing film favourites and orchestral classics, finishing with a spectacular fireworks finale.

Whether you're there for the pop anthems, the orchestra or all three days, it's one of Derby's biggest weekends of the summer. Sunday concert tickets start from £8 in advance, while Friday and Saturday tickets are also available separately.

Cosy Club has launched its new summer menu, bringing fresh seasonal dishes, colourful spritzes and desserts that don't deserve to be skipped.

The new lineup includes herb-crusted salmon with velouté, buttermilk chicken topped with truffle, fresh summer salads, Aperol and Hugo Spritzes, plus new martinis if you're staying into the evening. Teatime Tipple also runs Sunday to Friday from 4pm to 9pm, with any two signature or seasonal cocktails for £14.

Engines & Espresso is back at Great Northern Classics on Saturday, with everything from modern motors and supercars to classics, vintage cars, bikes and trikes all under one roof. Car clubs, individual owners and anyone who enjoys saying, "You don't see many of those anymore," are all welcome.

The Tram Shed Café will be be serving breakfast from the morning and lunch from noon. Free entry, free parking, and plenty of shiny things to point at.

🐕 - Dog First Aid Course - Learn Canine CPR on a Dummy Dog, Which Is Exactly as Emotional as It Sounds!

A vet-approved, four-hour dog first aid workshop at St Nick's in Allestree, where you learn how to actually help your dog in an emergency rather than panicking and Googling it. Run by canine industry professionals, and yes, there are dummy dogs for the CPR practice.

The day covers CPR, choking, bleeding, shock, heatstroke, bloat, seizures, toxins and more, and you come away with a notebook, a handbook, a CPR card and an accredited certificate valid for three years. £59, and worth it for the peace of mind alone if your dog treats every pavement like a buffet.
