Things to do this weekend: 80% Off Designer Labels, a Repair Café, a New Deli and Wine Bar in Mickleover, plus ABBA at Vaillant Live!

Happy Friday! Front Row’s two-day clearance sale kicks off Sunday with up to 80% off designer labels, and the rails won’t stay full for long. You’ve also got the Repair Café giving broken toasters and bikes a second life.

Brooks, the new deli and wine bar in Mickleover, is serving lamb kebabs, camembert and cocktails, while Björn Again turn Vaillant Live into a full-blown ABBA party. Plenty of ways to spend your weekend, but the early birds will be first in line for the bargains.

Brooks has landed in Mickleover and the menu is built to tempt. Mornings start with croissants, granola parfait and a full breakfast stacked with bacon, sausage, eggs, mushrooms and black pudding. Lunchtime brings deli plates with Persian lamb kebabs, Greek chicken, roasted tomato pasta, burrata salads and hummus that wipes the floor with shop-bought tubs.

Evenings are made for grazing boards with baked camembert, truffle fries, charcuterie and more cheese than you can point a cracker at.

Pair it with wine, cocktails or craft spirits and you’ve got the kind of place where a quick bite easily turns into three hours of eating and drinking.
