Add in curry, Christmas shopping and a few excuses for cake, and you’ve got everything you need to call it a productive weekend.

Thinking about finally turning that “I’ll start running next week” promise into reality? RUN|DZ is the easiest way to actually do it. It’s free, friendly, and full of people who don’t take running (or themselves) too seriously.

Meet at ONE|DZ Gym every Monday, jog a bit, chat a lot, and pretend you’re training for something serious. You’ll get a warm-up beforehand so everyone starts on the same foot, and over six weeks you’ll build up to 3km together, or just enjoy looking like you might. You can also join the WhatsApp group for warm-ups, reminders and moral support disguised as banter!

They’re also hosting their first RUN | DZ Social on Saturday 23rd November, starting with a final 3km run from ONE|DZ Gym at 8:30 AM, followed by coffee and cake at The Greenery from 9:15 AM. Because if there’s one thing better than running, it’s running towards cake.

The County Ground’s going full sparkle mode with a firework show loud enough to set off car alarms in three postcodes. There’s a fun fair, candy floss the size of your head, and hot dogs that should probably come with a health warning. Bring your hat, your gloves, and your best “wow, that one was massive” voice.
