It’s Halloween weekend, so brace yourself for sugar highs, fake blood and at least one adult in a cape pretending it’s “for the kids.” Market Hall is hosting a full day of spooky fun with parades, crafts and tiny mummies wrapped in toilet roll. The Gothic Market returns for those who prefer their shopping with a side of mystery, and if fireworks make you flinch, Great Northern Classics has Bonfire Burnouts instead, fewer bangs, more engines.

Round it off with a parade that’s 50% adorable, 50% chaos, and entirely powered by sugar.
