This is the last Bustler at The Chocolate Factory before the venue closes, and they’re finishing exactly how you’d want. Street food traders running all night, festive drinks flowing, The Distractions Band on stage, plus DJs, silent disco, karaoke, magicians and arcade games filling every corner.

There are different ticket options if you want tables and vouchers, but the £5 entry ticket gets you straight into the action with all entertainment included. No dogs, no dry turkey dinners, no early night energy. Doors open at 6pm, roaming encouraged, and it’s very much a go out properly one last time situation.

A festive concert inside Elvaston Castle’s Star Room, which already feels like it was built for singing and mulled wine. The Collaboration Musical Theatre Company run through seasonal favourites in a setting that does most of the heavy lifting. You also get a mince pie and a mulled wine included, which instantly puts this ahead of most afternoon plans. Seating is limited and there are only 8 tickets left, so this is very much a book it now or hear about it later situation.

A string quartet playing Christmas favourites inside the Museum of Making, lit entirely by candlelight, which immediately makes everything feel about ten times more impressive. You get the big festive hits mixed with film favourites, all stripped back and played properly without anyone trying to belt along. It runs for around an hour, seats are first come in each zone.
