Morning! This weekend has the Matlock Summer Food Festival at Hall Leys Park with fifty food vendors, live music, and two days of eating in the Peak District for free. MooFest is carrying on at Bluebells with a daily foam party, sheep racing and a tortoise spa for the kids, and Bustler have finally gone permanent with their new all-day home at St James' Yard.

More than fifty food and drink traders are heading to Hall Leys Park for a weekend of street food, sweet treats, local favourites and enough choice to make your first lap completely pointless because you'll change your mind three times.

Live music and children's entertainment run throughout the weekend, with free entry for everyone. The only difficult decision is convincing yourself you don't need dessert... about thirty seconds before ordering it anyway.

After years of popping up across Derby, Bustler has opened the doors to its first permanent home at St James' Yard. Independent food, drinks, shopping and events now have a place that's open every week instead of just for the weekend.

Grab a coffee, stop for lunch, browse the independent traders or head down later when the place starts to fill up. If you've ever enjoyed a Bustler event before, you'll feel right at home here.

MooFest is back at Bluebells Farm Park with enough going on to keep even the hardest-to-please kids busy. There's a daily foam party at 4pm, sheep racing, calf bottle feeding, Barn Talks, a Barrel Bull Ride, a Cowstruction Zone and more!

You'll also meet Forest, Jenny and Bubba the emus, plus Bluebells' resident cow mascot. Every ticket includes a free return visit during the summer holidays (T&Cs apply), so if they spend the whole day talking about the sheep racing, you can always come back for the tortoises.

This beginner-friendly workshop takes you from cutting and pinning fabric to using a sewing machine and making your own tote bag, with no experience needed and plenty of guidance along the way.

Two hours later you'll leave with a bag you've made yourself and a brand new habit of replying, "Thanks... I actually made it," every time someone asks where it's from.
