Things to do this weekend: The Toasted Ceramic Fair, A 90's House Music Night, Plus a Wellbeing Expo on Sunday!

Morning! This weekend is doing a very convincing job of getting you out of the house. The TOASTED Ceramic Fair is back at the museum with 37 potters and more than enough temptation to have you eyeing up shelf space for a new mug.

Saturday moves from Easter plans at Bluebells Farm to a 90s house music event at The Yard, then Sunday starts at the Farmers Market before finishing with sound baths and wellbeing chat at the Expo. Safe to say, a quiet one was never really on the cards.

A little reminder for the weekend, because this one is very easy to talk yourself into. TOASTED Ceramic Fair takes over Derby Museum for two days with 37 potters, free demos, talks, and plenty of pieces that will have you suddenly deciding there is always room for one more mug.

There’s also a pottery tombola supporting the museum, a People’s Choice vote with £50 up for grabs, and free ceramic goodie bags for the first 25 through the door each day.

Run by a lovely couple with a catering background, TOAST Coffeehouse sits opposite Willington train station and just by the canal, but it is far more than a quick coffee stop. Good coffee, simple tasty food, friendly chatter, and a book corner make it the type of place that slows you down in the best way.
